Kamal Nayan Jain is a law graduate and a practicing Chartered Accountant. He is also an associate member of the Institute of Costs and Works Accountant of India. He specializes in the field of Capital Market activities including Issue Handling, Registrars to Issue and Share Transfer Agents. He has more than 15 years experience in the field of Direct Taxation to his credit besides his other professional activities. He is a Member of the Advisory Board of “Chartered Accountants Practitioners Journal”

He was the Chairman of EIRC, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the year 1999-2000. He has served all the standing and non - standing committees of EIRC, ICAI - 1998-2001. He was also the Member, Financial Markets & Investors Protection Committee, ICAI – in the year 2002-2003.

Kamal Nayan Jain is a regular speaker on related subjects and has deliverecd lectures in various Conferences, Seminars and Study-Circle meetings. He was a Faculty member at Jain Coaching Center, Kolkata.
